The series « Gravé dans le rivage » by Marguerite Morin was presented at the WKP Kennedy Gallery in North Bay (Ontario, Canada) from November 14 to December 20, 2025. In this exhibition, Morin depicts the landscapes that helped shape her identity. The artist believes that the nature in which we are raised directly influences the person we become. Her past remains etched in the nature where she was raised; preserved within are the memories of the people she knew and the different version of the person she was. Meadows, rivers and gravel paths anchor the roots of her being.

In this exhibition, Morin invited people from the countryside to revisit the places of their childhood, in the hope that they would find themselves in the same sunsets that marked her.
