2024

2024 marked the artist’s ​completion of uOttawa’s BFA. During this time, fourth year students were expected to elaborate the thesis of their practice that they had been developing since their arrival into the program. Extensive questioning led Morin to find the words that best describe the reasoning behind her art. This year allowed her to further explore the incorporation of natural fragments (that she collects from her hometown) into her practice. These fragments act as connectors, linking the artist to her roots. She finds a sense of home in the bits of nature that she collects, their nostalgia does not let her forget where she comes from.
