Marguerite Morin’s series “Gravé dans le rivage” will be exhibited at the WKP Kennedy Gallery in North Bay, ON from November 14th to December 20th, 2025. In this exhibitions, Morin aims to depict the landscapes that shaped her identity. The artist believes that the person we become is shaped by the nature in which we are raised. Her past remains etched in the places where she lived her life, these places hold memories of the people she used to know and the different versions of the person she once was. Meadows, rivers, and endless gravel paths anchor the roots of her being.

In this exhibition, Morin invites people from the countryside to revisit the places that raised them, with the hope that they will find themselves in the same sunsets that have marked her.
